The Accounting

Technician matches, codes, and batches invoices into an ERP system, weekly and monthly reconciliations, amongst other duties as defined below under the direction of the CFO. Responsibilities:

Match, code, and batch invoices for Grower’s Choice Landscape Products, Gateman-Milloy Inc. and other entities

Daily, weekly and monthly bank and GL accounts reconciliation

Maintain intercompany debt alignments and resolve discrepancies

Prepare monthly reconciliation between two software systems

Filing as required

Accounts Receivable duties as required

Processing of AP cheques as required

Process special term vendor invoices/credits

Projects as required by senior staff Requirements:

Ability to read, understand,



and speak English at a grade 12 level

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel are required

Ability to enter data and submit queries on database ERP system

Ability to work independently and work as a team member

Relationship management skills in order to comfortably and effectively interact with vendors and all levels of internal staff are required

Communication skills (listening, verbal, written)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy required

Knowledge of accounting principles

Responsible, reliable, and ability to keep confidential information

College diploma in accounting, or relevant years of experience is required Compensation:

Starting salary range: $50,000–$53,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience

Annual vacation entitlement begins at three weeks
