Full Employment Chance Accounts Clerk II General Government Department (Temporary, Full-Time) The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is seeking an Accounts Clerk II Temporary Full Time, 8-month (possible extension) Reporting To The Supervisor Of Assessment & Taxation Or Their Designate, The Successful Applicant Must Or Be Willing To Possess The Following High School Graduation Certificate

Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an accounting or payroll position or Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate with the National Payroll Institute

Knowledge of payroll and labour regulations & legislation

Proficient with Microsoft Office Software programs particularly Outlook, Excel and Word

Class 05 Driver's License and satisfactory driver’s abstract





Clear RCMP Criminal Record Check and Provincial Court Check are conditions of employment Salary and benefits are based on a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, per CUPE Local 2019 collective agreement with the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay as applicable for temporary employment.
