Full Employment Opportunity Accounts Clerk II General Government Department (Temporary, Full-Time) The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is seeking an Accounts Clerk II Temporary Full Time, 8-month (possible extension)

Reporting To The Supervisor Of Assessment & Taxation Or Their Designate, The Successful Applicant Must Or Be Willing To Possess The Following

- High School Graduation Certificate
- Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an accounting or payroll position or Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate with the National Payroll Institute
- Knowledge of payroll and labour regulations & legislation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software programs particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
- Class 05 Driver's License and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Clear RCMP Criminal Record Check and Provincial Court Check are conditions of employment





Salary and benefits are based on a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, per CUPE Local 2019 collective agreement with the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay as applicable for temporary employment.
