Position #: 186971 Expected Start Date: August 24, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: HIV Strategy Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Addictions Counsellor - Degree $34.509 to $42.199 Travel Required: Yes : As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team and under the general direction of the Out-of-Scope Manager, the Addiction Counsellor Degree, is responsible for the day to day client service delivery (development,

implementation, delivery and assists with evaluation) of Addiction Services.

Performs clinical case management, community/program education and community/program development. "Preference for this position will be given to

HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS

Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: Saskatchewan Health Authority relies on section 48 of the Saskatchewan Human Rights code to give preference in employment to applicants of aboriginal ancestry for this position Education Degree in Addiction Counseling Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Bachelor of Human Services is acceptable Competencies Advanced - Case management skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work flexible hours Knowledge in substance abuse and addictions, including cause and effect Knowledge in individual, family, group,
