The positions require at minimum one week in-community assignments on a rotational basis with call duties.

Must be eligible for fulllicensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba.





Family Practice

Anesthetists (FPA) must have a Certificate of Added Competency in Family Practice Anesthesia from a recognized University. This position is located at the Thompson General Hospital in Thompson, Manitoba. The City of Thompson, known as the “Hub of the North”, is located 740 kilometers north of Winnipeg, and serves as the regional trade and service centre of Northern Manitoba.

With a population of approximately 15,000 residents, Thompson boasts all of the amenities of an urban centre as well as the beauty of the surrounding lakes and Boreal Forest.
