Island Health invites a locum Anesthesiologist to join a busy anesthesia practice at the North Island Hospital Campbell River & District Campus.

North Island Hospital Campbell River & District Campus is a new 95‑bed hospital that serves a referral population of 60,000. Surgical services include fellowship trained orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, dental, and sedation service for endoscopy. Anesthesia is covered 24/7, with some surgical call services shared with neighboring centres in Comox and Courtenay. After‑hours work may involve ICU and ER for trauma or acute airway management.





Affiliation with the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program provides teaching opportunities for medical students and residents.

Start date: November – January 2025.
