In this permanent position, you'll report to the Coordinator of Recreation, ensuring high-quality aquatics delivery in a vibrant community. With at least two years in municipal recreation, your role includes staff leadership, program oversight, and customer engagement. You'll mentor part-time staff, assist in training, and ensure compliance with regulations to promote safe aquatic experiences.

Key Responsibilities:



• Support direct aquatics program delivery across multiple facilities • Mentor and train part-time staff and volunteers • Conduct staff evaluations during program delivery • Manage emergency shift coverage as needed • Assist in payroll processing for part time staff

Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma in Recreation & Leisure or related field • Minimum two years in aquatics programming • Current National Lifeguard certification • Experience supervising staff and volunteers • Various additional lifeguard and instructor certifications
