About Our Client

Our client is a mining company with headquarters in Vancouver. With a strong focus on safety, operational excellence and sustainable project delivery, the company has major mining activities in the South-American region.

- Act as the owner's lead for a major process plant and associated site infrastructure scope, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Provide leadership on technical reviews, constructability assessments, operational readiness, and long‑term asset performance considerations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders to manage project interfaces, execution priorities, risks, and critical decision‑making requirements.
- Monitor contractor and EPCM performance, ensuring compliance with project objectives, contractual obligations, technical standards, and quality requirements.
- Oversee construction readiness activities, including engineering deliverables, field mobilization, permitting dependencies, materials management, and execution planning.
- Lead efforts related to schedule management, risk mitigation, cost awareness, issue resolution, and overall project execution effectiveness.
- Support commissioning, startup, and operational handover activities to ensure the process plant is delivered safely and ready for sustained operations.

- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience between 15 - 25+ years leading large-scale mining, mineral processing, industrial, or infrastructure projects in owner, EPCM, EPC, or contractor environments.
- Robust background in process plant execution, project delivery, construction management, and operational readiness programs.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, contractor interfaces, and multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience supporting projects through engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Strong leadership, commercial acumen, risk management capabilities, and decision‑making skills within complex project environments.
