Lead Renshaws’ contemporary art gallery in Alexandria as the Gallery Director. This autonomous role focuses on exhibition planning, artist relationships, and daily operations in Sydney. The Renshaws’ seeks an experienced Gallery Director to steer its new operation in Sydney, opening in September 2026. You will ensure the successful delivery of exhibitions and manage a small team as you drive the gallery’s strategic vision in collaboration with the Brisbane branch.
Oversee
Sydney program including exhibition planning
- Manage sales and coordinate private events
- Contribute to strategic direction with Brisbane gallery Proven experience in gallery operations (preferably commercial)
- Established network in Sydney's art scene
- Solid curatorial understanding of contemporary art
