Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of French and European breads, pastries, and desserts with attention to authenticity and detail
- Decorate cakes and confections using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning products
- Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, shaping, proofing, and finishing baked goods
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to strict food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Assist in packaging baked items attractively for retail display or takeout orders
- Maintain a clean,



organized kitchen workspace, including equipment cleaning and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about products, and offering recommendations

Qualifications

- Proven experience in bakery operations, with a focus on French or European baking styles
- Skilled in cake decorating, food preparation, and general kitchen procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail in baking, decorating, and presentation of baked goods
