Assistant Manager – Fast Food Restaurant

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a robust leader who can manage daily restaurant operations while working alongside the team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and handle busy service periods.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Food Handler Certificate (required).
- Smart Serve/Liquor Service Certification (preferred but not required).
- Culinary experience or a skilled culinary background is considered a robust asset.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain high food quality standards.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Lead, supervise, and support kitchen and order taking.
- Prepare and cook menu items, including burgers, poutines, wings, and other items.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including the fryer, grill, and stove.
- Take customer orders and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.




- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are followed.
- Monitor inventory and report stock shortages when necessary.
- Train and mentor team members to maintain high performance standards.
- Ensure every workstation is cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and skilled working environment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and help resolve issues quickly.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and sales goals.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
