Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week; Adaptable shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays

Wage: $37.25 per hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the daily operations of the restaurant
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Recruit staff and oversee staff training




- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Assist in controlling inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Deal and schedule with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Assist in maintaining quality control standards for food preparation, presentation, and customer service

Employment Requirements

- Completion of secondary school is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a restaurant setting is required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high customer volume
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support team management and maintain operational standards
- Language Requirement: English (spoken and written)
