Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Burnaby, BC, supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations and overall performance.

Responsibilities include leading and motivating the team, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring strong customer service standards are consistently met. The role involves overseeing visual merchandising, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting sales initiatives to meet targets.

Qualifications

Experience in retail or customer-facing environments with strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team coaching, performance feedback, and daily supervision.

Knowledge of store operations such as cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Comfort with basic technology, including point-of-sale systems and standard office software.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Previous experience in beauty, skincare, or ethical retail is an asset.

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is an advantage.
