AstraCare Medical & Family Practice is seeking a Physician for a hybrid locum position. The clinic is located in the Central Park neighbourhood of Burnaby, with 9 exam rooms, offices, and staff amenities.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to a full-spectrum patient population, including many international patients.
- Conduct appointments both virtually and in person using Oscar and Juno EMR systems.
- Collaborate with a team of 4 trained Medical Office Assistants to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain continuity of care for patients and coordinate longitudinal care plans.
Qualifications & Preferences
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin preferred.
- Experience with Oscar EMR or similar systems.
- Ability to work full time or part-time; willing to cover July 2026 to December 2032.
Compensation & Logistics
- Payment based on billings.
- Overhead split negotiable.
