Job Title: Automation Test Lead

Location: Remote - Canada

Experience Level: 10+ years (with 4+ years in automation testing leadership)

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement automation testing strategy across projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Lead end-to-end automation testing cycles : regression, integration, performance, and UAT.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
- Manage defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.
- Mentor QA engineers and coordinate offshore/onsite automation activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and data security policies.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Robust expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Hands-on with test management tools (JIRA, QTest, ALM).
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead QA teams in global, multi-time zone environments.
