Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations locally while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a skilled team in a dynamic environment, utilizing both driving skills and equipment operation expertise. Please note this for manual trucks only.

Duties

- Operate commercial truck to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries

Work Environment

- Local routes within Ontario
- Home daily
- Full‑time/Part-time hours
- Start and finish times may vary based on delivery schedules, customer loading/unloading times, traffic, and operational requirements. Flexibility with daily hours is required.

Requirements

- Reliable, professional, and able to represent the company with integrity
- Must be insurable under the company’s commercial auto insurance policy.




- Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (AZ)
- Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract with no major violations
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with applicable laws
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor troubleshooting and maintenance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team and clients
- Ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions and terrains
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple responsibilities while prioritizing safety. Candidates with experience in freight logistics, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair will be highly valued. Any offer of employment is conditional upon successful verification of driving record, CVOR, and eligibility for coverage under the company’s commercial auto insurance policy.
