Duties

- Provide qualified hair cutting, styling, trimming, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and offer expert recommendations for styles and treatments.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients warmly, and handling check-in/check-out procedures.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, attentive service,



and personalized consultations.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of diverse styles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols relevant to beauty salons or barbershops.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client care.
- Strong organizational skills to manage appointments efficiently at the front desk.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand client needs.
- A valid license or certification as required by local regulations for practicing as a barber or hairstylist.
