Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and effective Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, along with experience in food and beverage preparation. Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service




- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

- Previous Barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or food service is advantageous
