Role Description The Brand Manager, Trade Marketing role is a full-time, in office position based in Markham, ON. This role is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that support brand growth across retail and wholesale channels. Day-to-day tasks include planning promotional programs, coordinating with sales teams on in-store activations, and managing trade marketing budgets.

Manager will analyze market data, customer insights, and sales performance to optimize campaigns and pricing initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders on product launches,



creating trade materials (such as sell sheets and point-of-sale assets), and ensuring consistent brand representation across all customer touchpoints.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in brand management or trade marketing within consumer goods, food, or related industries.
- Strong skills in market analysis, sales data interpretation, and performance reporting to guide trade strategies.
- Ability to plan and execute promotional campaigns, merchandising initiatives, and in-store activations with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for working with sales teams, suppliers, and retail partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or marketing tools.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape and import/distribution processes is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Markham, ON, and collaborate effectively in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
