We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented experienced Building Maintenance worker / Building Manager to join our team.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm

Key Duties:

- Carry out regular maintenance and small repairs (lighting, painting, drywall, pressure washing, snow/ice removal)
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the building (garbage, recycling, cardboard)
- Assist the Property Manager with notices, communication, and enforcing building rules
- Support residents and coordinate work with contractors and trades on site
- Handle basic office tasks such as emails, bookings, supply tracking, and incident reports
- Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs are met
- Oversee building systems such as fobs, intercom, cameras, and fire panels
- Check safety equipment regularly (e.g., fire alarms, generators)
- Monitor parking areas and assist with move-ins and move-outs
- Help during emergencies and work with emergency responders when required
- Be available for after-hours calls if needed

Qualifications:





- At least 1 year of experience in building maintenance similar work
- Basic hands-on maintenance skills (repairs, cleaning, painting, pressure washing)
- Experience working with contractors and trades
- Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle conflicts calmly and make sound decisions
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer tools
- Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willing to respond to emergencies outside regular hours
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an asset
