HDR is looking for a Senior Management Consultant to join our Canadian Water Business Group. The selected candidate will manage all aspects of utility management projects, primarily in water and wastewater in Ontario, collaborating with HDR’s engineering and Utility Management Services staff across the company and with teaming partners. Serve as a strategic advisor with recognized authority on complex issues for water and wastewater clients.

Plan and develop projects and consulting engagements that significantly influence client operations and capital programs. Act as Project or Program Manager on larger projects, though project management is not the sole focus. Provide professional consultation on utility planning and organizational structure.

Minimum 15 years of water and wastewater industry experience. Master’s degree. Strong leadership skills and project management experience with multiple national remote teams.



Proven experience managing projects, client relationships, proposal development, and business development.

Self‑starter with excellent writing and communication skills. Local candidates preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field. Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
