Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days WFO)

Duration: 6–12 Months Contract

Pay: CAD 55-60/Hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Project McIntosh, a regulatory compliance initiative focused on automating New York State (NYS) employment tax compliance processes. The role requires strong expertise in SAP US Payroll, payroll tax compliance, and multi-system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements by collaborating with Payroll, Global Mobility, Finance, Concur, EY, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze SAP US Payroll (BSI Tax Factory), identify configuration gaps, and support automated NYS tax withholding enhancements.
- Define and document integration requirements across SAP, Concur, EY, SFTP, badge swipe/location data, and other enterprise systems.
- Translate NYS employment tax regulations into functional and technical requirements, ensuring audit-ready documentation.
- Define requirements for work location tracking, travel data, work from home, relocation, and compensation data integration.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, governance, and SLA requirements across integrated systems.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings,



manage requirement validation, and provide project status updates.

Required Qualifications

- 5 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in SAP US Payroll (BSI Tax Factory), payroll tax calculations, and data structures.
- Experience with payroll tax compliance, multi-state withholding, and system integrations.
- Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to convert regulatory requirements into technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with NYS employment tax compliance.
- Knowledge of Concur Travel & Expense, EY tax/compliance tools, and badge/location tracking systems.
- Experience with compensation integration, deferred compensation, or audit remediation projects.
