We are looking for motivated, outgoing college students who want real-world business development experience to build their resume while earning base salary.

The Role

As a Business Development Associate, you will represent Challenge Island – Brampton in the community and help grow our local partnerships.

This is a role with base salary + commission with flexible hours.

What You’ll Do

- Aggressive Sales Prospecting: Actively research, map out, and cold-outreach potential prospective accounts across Brampton (schools, camps, community centers, daycares, Scouts groups, and local organizations).
- Book Meetings: Conduct phone, email, and in-person outreach to get meetings on the calendar with key decision-makers (principals, camp coordinators, event planners, etc.).
- Relentless Follow-Up: Maintain a structured follow-up system to turn warm leads into booked pitches and closed agreements.
- In-Person Field Pitching: Drive within Brampton to meet prospective clients, pitch our programs, and showcase the value of Challenge Island.
- Track & Report: Keep accurate records of all outreach efforts, scheduled meetings,



pipeline status, and confirmed bookings.

Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Prospecting Mindset: Proven ability (or strong natural drive) to prospect new accounts independently through phone calls, emails, and drop-ins.
- Sales Execution: Knows how to handle objection, follow up persistently, and convert an initial contact into a scheduled meeting.
- Proactive & Aggressive Growth Attitude: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable asking for the business. Not afraid of cold outreach.
- Communication Skills: Energetic, persuasive, and confident speaking with decision-makers.
- Vehicle & Mobility: Must have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license (required for local travel in Brampton).
- Local Knowledge: Familiar with the Brampton area and community.
- Background: College/University student or recent graduate (Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or related fields preferred, but drive matters most).

- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities
- Track outreach efforts and report secured bookings
