Make a difference this summer with the YMCA of Greater Toronto as a Camp Counsellor in Durham Region. Provide a dynamic camp experience while supervising and engaging with campers in numerous activities. This part time, seasonal role offers multiple vacancies for youth leaders passionate about creating safe and fun environments.

You will ensure adherence to program plans, provide safety and support to campers, and actively participate in a wide range of camp activities. Your interpersonal skills will be vital in building community connections. Key Responsibilities:

- Support campers during activities and recreational swim
- Follow all program plans and guidelines effectively
- Cultivate relationships with campers and staff
- Attend staff training, contributing positively to the team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

- At least 17 years old by December 31st
- Required First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Experience in child supervision preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to equity and belonging in camp settings
