Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Camp First Aider or Nurse to provide essential medical support and ensure the health and safety of all camp participants and staff. In this vital role, you will be the primary responder to medical incidents, manage minor injuries, and assist with health-related needs throughout the camp duration. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, positive environment where everyone can thrive and enjoy their experience.

- August 4-9
- August 9-15
- August 18-23
- August 23-30

Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing first aid and necessary treatment to campers and staff
- Assess injuries or illnesses, determine appropriate care, and administer medications following prescribed protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records, incident reports, and medication logs with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with camp leadership to develop health and safety procedures tailored to the camp workplace




- Assist with health screenings and share health education for campers and staff
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications and medical supplies in compliance with safety standards
- Be available 24-7 during the dates listed. You will be provided a private room in the health center. Camperships for camp aged children will be provided as well.
- Adherence to camp policies related to no smoking/vaping/alcohol or drug use or possession.

Experience

- Minimum of Standard first aid certification and CPR level C
- Experience administering or being responsible for first aid
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and basic emergency response techniques
- Experience working with children or in a camp setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey health information and instructions to diverse audiences

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
