Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and medical instructions
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Support patients with medical procedures or treatments under supervision, utilizing your knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation




- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and ensure the overall comfort of clients in their homes or care facilities

Skills

- Prior experience working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings is highly valued
- Strong understanding of senior care needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and medical terminology
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting with mobility or transfers
- Excellent communication skills for case management and coordinating with healthcare teams
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide patient-centered care
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively while following hospice or medical protocols
