Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chairside Dental Assistant with prior experience to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient workflow.

Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where clinical skills and patient care are prioritized.

Duties

- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies.
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Maxident and Dexis, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient check-in/check-out processes, and assisting with front desk duties when needed.




- Stay updated on the latest dental assisting techniques and industry standards through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant experience in a dental setting.
- Proficiency with dental management software including Maxident and Dexis is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology to effectively assist in diverse procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including children.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
