The Veritas
Foundation exists to strengthen Canadian philanthropy by combining rigorous financial analysis with a passion for positive impact.
Our roots are in capital markets: founded by the team behind Veritas Investment Research, Canada's leading independent equity research firm, we bring a research-first mindset to the charitable sector. We provide objective Charity Reviews and Ratings on over 56,000 registered Canadian charities, publish sector insights, and celebrate the country's fastest-growing charities through our annual Veritas500 Awards. We believe giving should be data-informed, transparent, and transformative—for donors and recipients alike.
