CEFA was launched in 1998 as an Early Learning School for children 1-6 and has grown into a full-service offering with many different formats to meet the ever-changing and demanding needs of parents today, including 5-hour Pre-Kindergarten (CEFA Minis), before and after school programs (CEFA Kids Club), and summer programs (CEFA Camps).
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school kitchen,
ensuring high-quality food preparation, and managing kitchen staff.
Duties
- Plan and create creative menus in line with culinary trends and company standards
- Supervise food preparation and cooking activities
- Monitor food costs and assist in ordering supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of food industry trends and techniques
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Understanding of food safety and proper food handling procedures
- Hospitality-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences
