Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials according to established procedures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with sanitation standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in commercial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
