THE ROLE We are seeking an enthusiastic and safety-focused Climbing Wall Attendant to support the daily operation of our climbing facility. In this role, you will ensure the climbing wall and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, and operational condition while providing exceptional customer service to participants of all skill levels. You will supervise climbing activities, provide guidance on safe climbing techniques and facility procedures, conduct safety inspections, respond to customer inquiries, and assist with equipment rentals and facility scheduling.

The successful candidate will be committed to promoting a positive and inclusive recreational environment, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting the delivery of quality programs and special events.





Qualifications Needed Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma AND some years of experience in a climbing wall environment or a related field. AND Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification Current Climbing Wall Association (CWA) Instructor qualification or Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) Climbing Gym Instructor Level 1 Experience In climbing wall operations Knowledge Of climbing wall equipment and operations Of climbing instructional techniques Of injury prevention Of health and safety practices Of group dynamics Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

Language Requirements English

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check. This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
