This part time position in Halifax focuses on developing learners and enhancing competencies in the renal dialysis unit. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Manager of Renal Dialysis, overseeing educational initiatives and coaching for both the renal dialysis unit and 6Link inpatient unit.

Your extensive clinical experience in Pediatric Nephrology will nurture the skills of peers and learners through mentorship, expanding competence across the health care team.

Key duties include arranging educational programs, providing expert clinical support, and acting as a trusted clinical resource within the care team. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement educational activities for learners




- Provide mentorship to staff and peers
- Support learner placements in designated areas
- Facilitate communication within the healthcare team
- Coordinate with PDC for educational program planning Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Five years clinical experience in Pediatric Nephrology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia
- Strong leadership and organization skills
