RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Position Summary The MyeliNeuroGene Research Laboratory, directed by Dr.
Geneviève
Bernard, MD, MSc, a clinician-scientist, is looking for a motivated person to fill the position of full-time Clinical Research Coordinator. The team specializes in rare, genetic white matter diseases, leukodystrophies, and related disorders. Under the direction of the principal investigator, the candidate will be involved in leading natural history studies.
The candidate will also participate in the execution of various clinical research activities including research subject recruitment, coordinating and scheduling research visits, ensure accurate and timely data entry and documentation, maintain study files and regulatory documentation and protocol compliance.
Department / Research Program: CHHD – Child Health and Human Development General Duties Coordinate patient visits (recruitment, organize clinical assessments,
distribution of questionnaires)
Coordination of biological sample collection and biobanking activities
Collection and review of relevant medical record data
Coordination and shipment of biological samples (e.g., blood, fibroblasts, autopsies)
Management of patient database
Management of lab’s research protocols
Supervise and train clinical student researchers
Complete other tasks as requested by the PI Other Requirements Experience in clinical research
Excellent planning, organization, time-management skills
Excellent communication and networking skills

An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English. The position also requires complex writing or in-depth analysis of documents in English related to a research project.
Additional information Status: Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek) Pay Scale:
