Bartech Staffing is a leading engineering, technical and skilled staffing firm. Our client has engaged us to assist in hiring a contract Body Component Engineer (Windsor, Ontario). Some travel to the US for meetings.

Hourly pay: $38.00 - $40.00. Other responsibilities include quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives, and communicating technical product status to management.

The Exterior Lighting

Engineer is responsible for packaging requirements, lighting performance, lighting system behavior/validation of the vehicle's headlamps, fog lamps, tail lamps, CHMSL (center stop light), license plate lamps, side marker lamps, cargo and bed lamps. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program. Demonstrable knowledge of thermal management, optical evaluations, finite element analysis, and electronics.

Knowledge of lamp technologies, design practices and regulatory compliance specifications. Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program. Automotive lighting experience and broad vehicle knowledge.

Detail‑oriented, team player, flexible, and ability to prioritize. As a Body Component Engineer with Bartech Staffing,
