Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Foreman to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with concrete-related tasks on various construction projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, blueprint reading, GPS systems, and site safety protocols.

Prior supervising experience and familiarity with construction management software are a plus, as the role may involve coordinating with project managers and overseeing aspects of the worksite.

Duties

- Assist in preparing and setting up forms, reinforcement, and other materials for concrete pouring
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to project specifications
- Operate tools and equipment related to concrete work, ensuring proper maintenance and safety
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure concrete work meets industry standards
- Support supervising staff in managing daily operations on-site
- Assist with site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe working environment




- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and adhere to budget constraints using construction management software when necessary

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction, specifically with concrete work or related trades
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Familiarity with GPS and gradiing
- Supervising experience in a construction setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or training in construction safety are advantageous
