Advance your career as a Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This 12-month fixed-term role offers a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week with adaptable working options. The position is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where you will join a dedicated team of consultants in Acute Medicine.

Candidates must hold GMC registration and have relevant higher specialist training leading to CCT in Acute Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine, or eligibility for CESR. Non-UK applicants should show equivalent qualifications. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Manage a diverse patient population in acute settings




- Engage in clinical decision-making and treatment planning
- Participate in department training and mentorship programs
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

- GMC registration with a license to practice
- Evidence of higher specialist training or equivalence
- Experience in Acute Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical skills in acute settings
