About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Content Designer to lead content strategy for a complex digital customer acquisition experience. This role goes beyond writing interface copy—it focuses on shaping how users understand and navigate the end-to-end journey through clear, intuitive, and human-centered content.

As the content strategy lead within a cross-functional product team, you will define voice and tone, information architecture, terminology, and content patterns that create seamless experiences while supporting business goals. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, researchers, engineers, legal, and compliance teams to deliver content that is both user-friendly and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead content strategy for digital product experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Define voice, tone, terminology, and content standards that create consistent customer experiences.
- Design and write clear, concise UX content that simplifies complex user journeys.
- Develop content architecture, messaging hierarchy, and conversational flows throughout the customer journey.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, researchers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality experiences.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to balance regulatory requirements with plain-language communication.
- Influence product strategy by advocating for content-first thinking during discovery and planning.
- Conduct or support content validation through usability and comprehension testing.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems by establishing scalable content guidelines and patterns.




- Mentor other designers and promote best practices in UX writing and content strategy across the organization.
- Present content recommendations and rationale to senior stakeholders while driving alignment across multiple teams.

Required Qualifications

- Deep expertise in UX writing and content design for native mobile applications and responsive web experiences.
- Strong content strategy and information architecture skills with the ability to establish scalable content standards.
- Experience applying plain-language principles within complex or highly regulated industries while maintaining legal and compliance accuracy.
- Proven experience creating and evolving content within enterprise design systems, including voice, tone, terminology, and reusable content patterns.
- Strong understanding of Lean UX methodologies and experience working within Agile product development teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading content strategy across large cross-functional product organizations.
- Background in usability testing, comprehension testing, or research-driven content validation.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and designing content directly within product prototypes.
- Experience working within financial services or another regulated industry.
- Experience mentoring content designers and elevating UX writing practices across teams.
