At Jade Consulting

Inc., our Controllers are trusted advisors to both clients and our internal team. We're looking for an experienced accounting skilled who enjoys leading people, solving complex accounting challenges, and helping businesses make informed financial decisions. This role offers the opportunity to mentor a growing team while overseeing a diverse client portfolio and driving continuous improvement across our accounting practice. What you'll do

Lead client accounting engagements from month-end through year-end

Review financial statements and complex reconciliations

Support cash flow analysis, budgeting and financial reporting

Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Coordinate with external auditors and support tax and regulatory filings

Coach and mentor Accounting Specialists

Build strong client relationships and lead financial review meetings

Improve processes through automation and innovation We're looking for someone who

Has 6+ years of progressive accounting experience

CPA or CPB designation is considered an asset





Strong leadership and client management skills

Experience reviewing financial statements and leading teams

Passion for continuous improvement and technology

Is proficient with accounting software and related tools (ERP systems, spreadsheets, cloud-based finance platforms)

Has prior experience in a consulting, outsourced accounting, or multi-client environment, ideally with small and mid-sized businesses Why Jade?
