CRT CK (MA) 12R - Court/Registry Clerk - (124691) Posting Title CRT CK (MA) 12R - Court/Registry Clerk On-Site 35.24 - $39.88 hourly, which includes a 4 Grid Market Adjustment* Regular Part Time Temporary End Date Ministry/Organization BC Public Service - Attorney General Ministry Branch / Division Court Services Branch The Campbell River Law Courts team is an established group of seven staff with a range of experience and roles who work together to provide administrative support to both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia. Working closely with court administration staff, the judiciary, counsel, and other justice partners, the team plays an important role in supporting the court system and helping citizens access justice. As a Court Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting the administration of justice by providing administrative services before, during, and after court proceedings, as well as performing data entry and assisting clients in the court registry. Working as part of a collaborative and inclusive team, you will help ensure court operations run smoothly while providing respectful, professional service to people from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs. Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).

A minimum of 1 year of experience in office and/or administrative support or customer service; A minimum of 1 year of experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing,



and working with standard computer applications and software programs (e.g., Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience in court programs and applications (e.g., Experience providing customer service.

Experience as a Court Clerk and/or Registry Clerk. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a legal environment. This position is part time. (You will work up to full time for the training period then adjust to a set schedule of 3 days bi-weekly) This position has in office requirements. An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies. Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
