The Old Farm Market is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Deli Manager to lead a dynamic and fast-paced department within our store. If you enjoy developing people, creating attractive displays, maintaining exceptional food quality standards, and delivering an outstanding customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach, and develop the deli team
- Assist with recruiting, scheduling, training, and performance management of deli team members
- Deliver exceptional customer service every day
- Maintain high standards for food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health standards, and required department procedures
- Manage ordering, inventory, waste, and department profitability
- Create attractive displays and keep the department fully stocked, fresh, and inviting
- Develop seasonal offerings, introduce recent products, and bring creative ideas to the department
- Work alongside your team during busy periods, leading by example
- Collaborate with store leadership to continuously improve the department and enhance the customer experience

What We’re Looking For

- Previous leadership experience in a deli, grocery, food service, or retail environment
- Strong computer and administrative skills, including experience with email communication, Microsoft Office,



scheduling tools, inventory systems, reporting, and the ability to learn and effectively use new software applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude
- The ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team
- A passion for quality food and delivering memorable customer experiences
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Food Safe certification is considered an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
