Role Description The Dental Admin role is a full-time, on-site position located in Oakville, supporting the daily operations of SmileVille Dentistry. This role includes greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a qualified and courteous manner.

The Dental

Admin is responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and coordinating patient flow to ensure smooth clinical operations. Daily tasks also involve handling billing and insurance information, processing payments,



and assisting with treatment plan communication and documentation. The role requires close collaboration with dentists and the clinical team, attention to detail in administrative tasks, and consistent delivery of a welcoming patient experience.

Qualifications

- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including appointment scheduling, record management, and basic office software proficiency.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients and team members.
- Experience in dental office administration, including familiarity with dental terminology, billing processes, and insurance coordination, is an asset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
- High level of reliability, professionalism, and teamwork, with a commitment to supporting a positive, inclusive patient environment.
- Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education in office administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort working on-site in a clinical setting and adhering to infection control, privacy, and safety guidelines.
