Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in our practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Oral Surgery experience and asset but training will be provided. Well compensated subject to experience. No evenings and no weekends.

Duties

- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, and surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on post-operative care
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office




- Handle administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out

Requirements

- Previous experience in Oral Surgery as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
