Senior Operations
Manager - DMC Program Operations leads the planning, management, and delivery of complex destination management programs throughout Western Canada. This role drives operational excellence, team development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to support the long-term scalability of the Operations Department.
Program Management: Lead end-to-end execution of events from planning through post-evaluation. Develop workback schedules to balance operational excellence with risk and financial management. Foster a high-performing culture, mentor team members, and assist with workload balancing and capacity planning.
Continuous improvement of processes, templates, and systems to scale efficiency without losing creative flexibility.
participate in site inspections. Align internal teams from initial client engagement to final execution for seamless project delivery. Manage program budgets to maximize profitability, transparency, and sustainable business growth.
Cultivate relationships across the Western Canadian hospitality, tourism, and events sectors to drive business value. 8–10+ years managing corporate meetings, incentive travel, or destination management programs. Solid skills in budgeting, pricing, profitability, and contract management.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously; Track record of coaching, mentoring, and influencing teams. Deep knowledge of Western Canadian destinations and hospitality partners (Strong Asset). Advanced proficiency in MS Office/Excel and project management software.
Experience with Canva, CRMs, and scheduling platforms is an asset. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive compensation/perks package (base salary of +/-$100,000), a flexible hybrid work schedule, and will be joining a collaborative team who are passionate about their work.
