Lead high-quality resident care and infection prevention at Extendicare as the Director of Care & Infection Prevention and Control. Collaborate with executive teams to implement essential health services and quality standards. In this full-time role, you will report directly to the Executive Director while collaborating with the Director of Care to support exemplary resident care.

Your focus will be on implementing person-centered nursing philosophies, overseeing infection prevention protocols, and ensuring legislative compliance. Your leadership will drive improvements in nursing services and ensure a protected environment for residents and staff. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Executive Director on departmental performance




- Plan and implement resident care services
- Manage financial and human resources in nursing
- Oversee Infection Control monitoring activities
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and quality care

Requirements:

- 1+ years as a Registered Nurse in long-term care
- 3+ years in a managerial capacity
- Current RN registration required
- IPAC education and experience preferred
- CPR certification and leadership skills required
