Lead development initiatives at the United Way of Prince Edward Island as the Director of Development and Donor Experience. Engage donors meaningfully and execute effective fundraising strategies.

This full-time leadership position reports directly to the CEO and will oversee the Marketing and Engagement Coordinator. Your role includes strategizing fundraising efforts, cultivating relationships with existing and prospective donors, and coordinating volunteer engagement. You’ll also work closely with community partners and undertake special event management.

Key Responsibilities:



• Design innovative giving opportunities and communication materials • Implement a donor stewardship strategy to foster relationships • Identify corporate partnerships to enhance community investment • Manage special events and sponsorship opportunities • Collaborate with development staff for consistent donor experiences

Requirements: • 5-8 years in fund development, ideally in non-profits • Experience in donor cultivation and major gift strategies • Robust analytical and tech skills • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Related degree or designation is preferred
