About the Chance

Our client is seeking an experienced Director, Architecture to lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of a large-scale, cloud-native loyalty platform supporting millions of customer interactions across retail, banking, travel, and digital engagement channels.

Reporting to the Head of Architecture, you'll lead a team of Solution Architects and work closely with business and technology leaders to drive architecture strategy, modernize the Salesforce ecosystem, enable scalable digital experiences, and guide the organization's long-term technology roadmap. This is a highly visible leadership role with significant influence over enterprise architecture, platform modernization, and business growth.

Your Responsibilities

- Define and execute the architecture strategy and roadmap for the enterprise loyalty platform.




- Lead and mentor a team of Solution Architects while providing technical leadership and architectural governance.
- Drive scalable, secure cloud-native architecture with a focus on Azure, microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration.
- Lead architecture initiatives supporting loyalty capabilities, customer journeys, campaigns, partner integrations, and digital engagement.
- Guide the evolution of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem and related marketing technologies.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Drive platform modernization, cost optimization, security, and architecture best practices across a multi-cloud environment.

Skills and Qualifications

- 12+ years of experience in Enterprise, Solution, or Cloud Architecture, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience architecting enterprise loyalty or customer rewards platforms.
- Strong background in Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architecture, microservices, and API-first design.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar customer engagement platforms
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, campaign management, personalization, and digital marketing technologies.
- Experience leading architecture teams, governance, and enterprise technology roadmaps.
- Knowledge of platforms like Salesforce Loyalty Management, Snowflake, Braze, Twilio, Boomi, similar
- Familiarity with Martech (CDP, email/campaign tools, personalization engines) is preferred.
- Experience with Snowflake, Boomi/MuleSoft, AWS, GCP, and event-driven architectures is considered an asset.
- Experience within Banking, Credit Cards, Retail, Loyalty, or Travel industries is highly preferred.
