Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Assist with basic food handling tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and restocking dishware
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring all items are available for food preparation and service
- Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and operating dishwashing machinery




- Keep work areas tidy and organized to promote a safe and efficient environment
- Contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere by communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality workplace is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, or food service experience is advantageous
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in food establishments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving heavy items
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
