Dispatcher to join our team. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating our team of school bus drivers, this position is tailor-made for an industry professional with a focus on customer service and passenger satisfaction. The shift for this position is Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Pay: $23.00 per hour Knowledge and Skills Required Previous dispatch experience required, preferably in the school bus industry Operations experience considered an asset Good knowledge of Toronto city roadways Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally while exhibiting confidentiality and diplomacy Expertise in organizational planning and problem solving Working knowledge of Microsoft Word,



Excel and Outlook Principal Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that drivers and staff are treated in a fair and consistent manner using the guidelines and rules Ensure school routes are covered in an productive and fair manner Set up and input data accurately for driver payroll for the yard’s assigned routes Assist in answering public and driver inquiries and finding solutions to concerns Ensure all required paperwork/requests is completed in an accurate and timely manner Create/improve existing Operations systems Have a basic understanding of the school bus fleet Keep appropriate staff informed of any major issues, changes, concerns etc. in an expedient fashion This posting is for an existing vacancy.
