Allco Electrical Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our growing service department.

About the Position The Electrical Service Technician will complete a variety of electrical service, maintenance, repair and installation work for commercial and industrial customers throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area.

This position is suited to an experienced electrician who is comfortable working independently, communicating directly with customers and finding practical solutions to electrical issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Respond to electrical service calls

· Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently

· Perform preventative maintenance and electrical inspections

· Install, repair and replace electrical equipment, fixtures, panels and wiring

· Troubleshoot lighting, power, distribution and control systems

· Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documents

· Determine required materials and communicate job requirements clearly

· Provide professional and respectful service to customers

· Complete work orders, service reports and other job-related documentation accurately

· Coordinate with customers, supervisors, suppliers and other trades

· Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools and equipment





· Complete all work in accordance with electrical codes, safety requirements and Allco Electrical standards

Qualifications and Skills

· Valid Journeyperson Electrician licence

· Red Seal certification preferred

· Previous electrical service and maintenance experience

· Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and problem-solving skills

· Knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems

· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications





· Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

· Robust organizational and time-management skills

· Professional communication and customer service skills

· Ability to explain electrical concerns and recommended solutions clearly

· Positive attitude and team-oriented approach

· Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

· Valid driver’s licence and satisfactory driving record
