Take on a vital role as an Equipment Operator with the City of Greater Sudbury in the Roads Operations section. This position focuses on operating various CGS equipment and may include shift work. As an Equipment Operator B, you will work under the supervision of a Foreperson, managing routine tasks while operating equipment such as Tandem Trucks, Loaders, and more.

Your responsibilities will also include loading and unloading trucks, overseeing a small work crew, and adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate various units of CGS equipment
- Load and unload trucks by manual or mechanical means
- Transport materials, personnel, and refuse
- Oversee small work crews performing routine duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and report preparation

Requirements:

- Completion of Secondary School (Grade XII) Education
- Proven ability with CGS equipment operation
- Valid Class “DZ” driver's license
- Mechanical awareness to prevent equipment damage
- Excellent communication skills in English
